Blake Wheeler
The Big Wheel In Boston
Kirk Luedeke from the New England Hockey Journal talks about Blake Wheeler
The Boston Bruins are reaping the benefits of a great off-season acquisition in Blake Wheeler….of course the Bruins didn’t have to give up anything to land Wheeler who opted for unrestricted free agency rather than sign with the Phoenix Coyotes.
Wheeler is a key reason the Bruins are atop the NHL standings and needless to say both Wheeler’s and the Bruins success is a little bit of a surprise.
We chat with Kirk Luedeke from the New England Hockey Journal about just how big of impact Wheeler is having in Boston.

Little Brother Of Luke Looks To Make Name For Himself
Dustin Nielson and David Burstyn talk about the future of Brandon Wheat Kings star Brayden Schenn
Bragging rights are on the line for the Schenn family in Montreal this June. Will Brayden Schenn get drafted higher than his older brother Luke. To do so Brayden would have to go in the top five and the odds of that happening are pretty decent.
David Burstyn from McKeen’s Hockey joins HF Radio’s Dustin Nielson to talk about the potential of the youngest Schenn brother.

Magnus Svensson-Paarjarvi
A SWEDISH SENSATION, MAGNUS SVENSSON-PAARJARVI
Dustin Nielson chats with McKeen’s David Burstyn about Magnus Svensson-Paarjarvi
Magnus Svensson-Paarjarvi continues to be a sure-fire top ten pick. All scouting services have this kid ranked in the Top Ten and by what we’ve seen at the past two World Junior Championships it’s well worth it.
Nielson’s Note:I like what this guy brings to the table and I have a sneaking suspicion that he is going to end up going in the Top Five.

CHL Top Prospects Game Review
Dustin Nielson and NHL.com’s Adam Kimmelman Review The 2009 CHL Top Prospect’s Game
Adam Kimmelman covered the 2009 CHL Top Prospect’s Game for NHL.com. He now shares his thought’s with Hockey’s Future Radio. HF Radio Host Dustin Nielson and Adam discuss the hit on John Tavares along with the play of Matt Duchene, Evander Kane, Ryan Ellis, Brayden Schenn, Dmitri Kulikov and surprise Cody Eakin.
Note:
We should have seen Cody Eakin coming this year. Chatting with the Voice of the Bronco’s prior to the season he pointed out that Eakin is a guy who many scouts will learn to love throughout the season and I think that rings true…especially with the way he played in Oshawa on Wednesday night.
