The Boston Bruins are reaping the benefits of a great off-season acquisition in Blake Wheeler….of course the Bruins didn’t have to give up anything to land Wheeler who opted for unrestricted free agency rather than sign with the Phoenix Coyotes.

Wheeler is a key reason the Bruins are atop the NHL standings and needless to say both Wheeler’s and the Bruins success is a little bit of a surprise.
